Truman Scholarship Applicant Workshop Webinar
2020 Truman applicants are encouraged to attend this webinar on how to best approach your short answer essay responses, strategies for writing an effective policy proposal, and how to request supportive letters of rec from faculty. We will also troubleshoot any application issues and concerns.

As a reminder, the Harry S. Truman Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for college juniors who plan to pursue careers in government or elsewhere in public service. The Foundation has supported Truman Scholars in many fields of study, including: agriculture, biology, engineering, technology, medicine,  environmental management, economics, education, arts education, government, history, international relations, law, political science, public administration, nonprofit management, public health, and public policy.

Truman Scholars receive up to $30,000 toward a public service-related graduate degree, participate in leadership development activities, and have special opportunities for internships and employment with the federal government.
