WOW Families Festival - Volunteer Interest List
We are pleased to announce that DMUSD will host a big community event this summer to welcome all new DMUSD families for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year! The 1st Annual WOW Families Festival will be held on Saturday, August 10th at our Sage Canyon School.

True to our district’s focus, we will have several STEAM+ themed activity booths, as well as a full range of local businesses and food vendors present. To make this event as successful as possible, we are in need of volunteers to run the event, the day of.  

If you would like to volunteer your time on August 10th please complete this very brief survey.

If you would like to organize a STEAM+ activity the day of the festival, there is a place on the survey to share that idea with us.  We’ll reach out to you to coordinate. For all other volunteers, we will contact you to confirm logistics in early July.

All volunteers will be given a fun “staff squad” t-shirt to wear the day of the event.  When you complete the survey, we will ask you for your t-shirt size so we are sure to order one for you.

STEAM+ Themed Activity (Proposal)
If you would like to coordinate a STEAM+ themed activity for the event, please describe for us your ideas.  We will contact you soon to work out the details.  Please note that you will not be required to run the activity all day (unless you want to). We are hoping to have enough volunteers to support all activities throughout the event.
