Why develop a Chess Club for kids?
The research is clear on the benefits of chess playing on a child's brain development because it:
1.  develops logical, critical and creativity thinking.
2.  enhances focus, concentration and memory.
3.  teaches foresight, planning ahead and strategizing.
4.  blooms problem solving skills.
5.  improves reading skills like decoding, analysis, thinking and comprehension.
Not to mention, it gets kids off the tablet and engaged with others. AND IT'S FUN!!

Volunteers are needed.  Interested in making this happen for our kids?  Sign up today and join me in starting a Chess Club here at Church LYFE!
