**Chairs are noted for events that just need helpers. Dates are indicated when known.**

Secretary - Attends all monthly PA meetings, takes meeting minutes and distributes to PA board within one week of meeting.

Room Parent (Chair: Diana Kaniuga) - provide teacher support as necessary, motivate parents to attend and volunteer at school events, host a “meet and greet” in the fall for class parents, help at the school Thanksgiving feast, and coordinate the Annual Auction class project. The Room Parent Chair hosts meetings for room parents to discuss their roles and responsibilities, and ensures room parents hold class meet and greet and complete their class auction art project.

Primary Greeter/Dismisser (Chairs: Adrian Hunt-Davies & Melissa Killiri) - parent volunteers who welcome children to and from the car line to the school doors. The schedules are flexible; parents can help as many days a week as they like.

Book Fair Helper (Chair: Lorraine Haskins, Sue Kwon, Denise O'Malley) - available for set up or break down, to help guests find books and check out, or to offer general help to the book fair chair as needed.

Fall BBQ Helper (Chair: Louise McMath) - help is needed with planning, set-up, decorating, barbecuing and clean up.

International Day (Chair: Lois Miao) - help with a day that involves artifacts, clothing, art, music, food, dance, games and information about different countries. Volunteers may work with teachers to plan, create and execute the event.

Harvest Festival (Chair Genine Cilenti) - help is needed before the event (planning, marketing, raffle basket aquisitions) and the day of the event (set up, food, games, crafts, costume parade, and clean up).

Annual Acution (Chair Needed) - works with Louise McMath to organize spring fundraiser, establish theme and décor, and oversee volunteers to solicit donations, market event, and organize class art project.

Trike-a-thon Helper (Chairs: Danaea Castro & Melissa Killiri) - This event is held in the spring. Children bring home pledge sheets for family and friends to sponsor them. The children decorate their bikes, trikes and scooters in a gardening theme. The event takes place in the closed parking lot of the school. Help coordinate the event, including crafts, activities, and refreshments.

Teacher Appreciation Luncheons Fall and Spring (Chair: Kim Cristo) - This is a luncheon for the teachers, held twice yearly on the Thursday of parent teacher conference days. Chair will establish theme and menu - helpers are needed to donate/cook dishes, set up, service and clean up.

Family Events (CHAIR NEEDED) - Plans family events during the school year and during breaks, such as blues busters, playground gatherings, and pumpkin picking.

Parent Events (Chair: Amy Dalal) - helps chair plan parent only events, such as coffees and happy hours.

Parent Information Exchange PIE (Chair: Sue Kwon) - Works with the school and chair to bring in speakers and set up other seminars of interest to families. Past events include “Bringing Montessori into the Home”, “Be SMART: A Conversation about kids, guns and safety” and “Raising Resilient Girls.”

Makerspace Parent Volunteer (Chair: Sara Reinthaler) - Volunteers supervise and collaborate with student makers. Help is needed from 12-1 each day. You may volunteer to help once a week, on a specific cycle day or certain dates you are available.
