REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE - OFFICIAL WAIVER: I acknowledge that a Multi-Sport Event is an extreme test of a person's physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. I HEREBY ASSUME THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT. • I certify that I am capable of completing all disciplines of the event, and that I am physically fit and that I have sufficiently trained. • I understand that there are inherent risks associated with all disciplines of the event, including, but not limited to: drowning, bicycle accidents, collisions involving motor vehicles, and physical injuries associated with extreme physical exertion. • I understand that the swim is in fast moving water in an uncontrolled river with no lifeguards present and will be held in a navigable waterway that will be open to power boat traffic. Life jackets and swim caps are mandatory for all participants. • I understand that there will be vehicles on the roadway while I am running and riding. • I agree to abide by the competitive rules including the wearing of the swim cap that will be provided and my own life jacket and bicycle helmet • I agree to run and ride in single file, except when passing other participants. • Drafting is prohibited on the ride. • I hereby take the following action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns, or anyone else who might claim or sue on my behalf, and I hereby waive, release and discharge from any and all claims, losses, or liabilities for death, personal injury, partial or permanent disability, property damage, medical or hospital bills, or theft which may arise out of or relate to my participation in this event. I agree not to sue, and to hold harmless any and all persons, sponsors, property owners including Agness RV Park and Cougar Lane Lodge, volunteers, participants or government agencies for any and all claims or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharged herein.
