Our mission is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to access a creative career, irrespective of their start in life or where they come from.
By mentoring a young person you will be supporting their journey on our 18 week Kickstart programme, which is designed to give young people aged 18-25 inspiration, industry insight and the soft/practical skills needed to progress into entry-level opportunities.
The programme consists of workshops, online learning sessions, the opportunity to work with a dedicated mentor and be able to attend networking opportunities.
Mentoring gives young people direct access to understand the different types of career paths available to them and help them work out where to start. Commitment
- 18 weeks from 15th September 2025 (dates subject to change)
- 2 x 1.5hr welcome and training sessions with our mentor coach Dipti – specially designed to give you tips and tools on how best to work with your mentee (welcome session held in London - location TBC - and the training session held online)
- Fortnightly mentor mentee meets via Zoom (30-60 minutes), enabling mentees to set their goals, form your own relationship and set the boundaries - minimum 7 x catch ups
- Mentor/Mentee Mixers - a chance to meet with fellow mentee and mentors on the programme for some networking and peer-to-peer support
PLEASE NOTE: for 2025 we are introducing a Mentor registration fee. As a non-profit and small organisation a lot goes into making this programme. As a Kickstart mentor you benefit from the power of reverse mentoring, training from our leadership coach and ability to give back and create impact.
Fee breakdown:
Freelancer/Sole Trader: £40
Registered Company: £80 (per mentor)
