Are you in high school searching for an enriching and exciting internship to spend your summer learning about healthcare and business? Are you looking for ways to develop your skills in communication, professionalism, and networking? Apply to the Blueprints for Pangaea Summer Internship Competition!

As the global inequity in access to medical care, education, and supplies becomes increasingly clear, it is important each of us understands we can play a role in mitigating this issue. In an effort to educate the public regarding health and wellness, you will be tasked to artistically or creatively convey the impact of medical waste on the planet and/or humanity through a 30-second - 1 minute video. The video can take any form including animations, a dramatic reconstruction, or a documentary. Please keep in mind that the goal of this video is to teach and explain complex material in an understandable manner and remember to have fun! After submitting your video, we ask that you provide a brief 200-word explanation of your thought process behind medical waste and inequity, supporting your conclusions with citations.  

The winner will be selected to be the high school intern at Blueprints for Pangaea, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit aiming to reallocate excess medical supplies from U.S. hospitals and suppliers to areas in need. Through its current partnership with Project CURE, Blueprints for Pangaea has been able to reallocate over $2 million of medical supplies across the globe over the past few years.

The winner will have the opportunity to be a Summer Intern and work alongside passionate undergraduate students at the Blueprints for Pangaea Headquarters, located at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Fill out the interest form below to receive more information on how to enter!
