Show Choir Audition Sign-Up 
Hello potential show choir members,
Please read everything and fill out this form. Note: Students need to complete a vocal audition and a dance audition to be eligible. 
If you can not audition on the dates specified please reach out and we will schedule an alternative date. 

Next years weekly show choir rehearsals will be Monday and Thursday night 6:30-9:30. There will be some additional rehearsals throughout the season. These will be outlined in the schedule you receive at the parent meeting.

Dance Audition Practice Session
April 29th and May 9th in the Craig High School Choir Room
We will begin at 4:00pm and be done around 4:45pm.
These sessions are for any students who wish to learn the choreography in a live setting. Everyone is welcome but attendance is not required to audition. 

Vocal Auditions
May 13th and 14th in the Craig High School Choir Room
Potential to add some dates at Middle Schools for 8th grade students
  • Students will sing individually for a small panel of judges. Students should sign-up for a time at the end of this form.
  • On audition day students are expected to sing 1 minute of a pop/broadway song of their choice that showcases their vocal abilities. 
  • Please bring a phone or computer to play a karaoke track to sing too. You can find a track on youtube.
  • In addition to this the student will sing through some warm-ups to display range.
Dance Auditions (Attend one day of your choice)
May 15th and 16th 4:30-6:30 in the Craig High School Choir Room
  • Students will have access to choreography videos via the Craig High School Choir Website. Linked at the end of this form. These will be created soon.
  • On audition day you will spend the first 30 minutes reviewing the choreography as a group. Following this everyone will leave the choir room and we will call in groups of 4-6 to perform. Once you are done dancing you can leave for the evening. 
All students and their parents should plan on being available for the Parent Meeting on May 21st at 7:00pm. It is extremely important for parents and students to be at this meeting. We will go over summer camp dates, expectations, and will unveil our show theme.

To audition for Spotlighters you need to sing 1 minute of a song with a karaoke track (you can find them on youtube). I encourage you to try and memorize the words but you can use lyrics. You can choose any song you would like as long as it is school appropriate and shows off your voice. If you would like help selecting a song you can email Mr. Loving.
