Special Olympics PEI invites you to help us celebrate 30 Years of Enriching Lives!
 
The Enriching Lives Gala, taking place on Tuesday, June 23rd, is the largest annual fundraiser for Special Olympics PEI. This very special evening at the Delta Prince Edward by Marriott Hotel consists of a Gala Dinner as well as a Live and a Silent Auction. Again this year online viewing and bidding on all Silent Auction items will begin 2 weeks prior to the Gala using the Givergy platform on our custom website – www.EnrichingLivesAuction.ca.  

Special Olympics PEI offers recreational and competitive sports programs and competitive opportunities to Islanders with an intellectual disability. We currently have 652 athletes participating in 101 programs, spanning 18 official sports and 3 youth programs (ages 2-21). Did you know - we also focus on providing other opportunities through the Healthy Athletes Program, Healthy Communities Project and the Athlete Leadership Academy being launched in 2020.   Our athletes and programs are supported by over 205 volunteers, including 51 trained volunteer coaches.  Our values include Inclusion, Diversity, Empowerment, Respect and Excellence.  Special Olympics PEI is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

If you would like to support the Special Olympics Movement, please consider purchasing a corporate table of 8, or individual tickets, to the Enriching Lives Gala. Tickets for the Gala are $880 for a corporate table or $110 each. Gala table buyers also receive 2 VIP tickets to a private reception to meet the celebrities before dinner along with being included in our #TicketTuesday social media campaign.

 Special Olympics’ vision is that sport will open hearts and minds towards people with an intellectual disability and create inclusive communities all across Canada.  Using the medium of sport, Special Olympics PEI assists persons with an intellectual disability to become all that they can be - physically, mentally, socially, & emotionally - and to become accepted, respected and productive members of society. We do not exclude any potential athlete because of financial constraint. Special Olympics PEI is a registered not-for-profit charity.
