Summer Institute 2023: Deepening Team-Enabled Practices: Call for Proposals for Educator-Led Sessions - Due Sunday, April 9, 2023 at 11:59pm PST! 

ABOUT: Deepening Team-Enabled Practices is a 2-day, in-person professional learning event on June 22-23 in Scottsdale, Arizona designed for educator teams working in Next Education Workforce team-based models

The Deepening Team-Enabled Practices planning committee is inviting proposals for educator-led sessions on topics related to elements of Next Education Workforce models.

SESSION TIMES & FORMAT: Educator-led sessions are 45 minute live presentations delivered during Summer Institute 2023: Deepening Team-Enabled Practices during one or more of the following time slots.

June 22, 2023: 10:45 - 11:30 am MST and 2:30 - 3:15 pm MST

June 23, 2023: 10:45 - 11:30 am MST and 2:30 - 3:15 pm MST

Selected presenters will work with the event planning committee to determine how many times they will deliver their session content over the course of the two days. 

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Submissions are due on Sunday, April 9 at 11:59pm PST.
  • Proposals must be submitted by teams of at least two but no more than three educators who share learners.
  • Presenters may include a school leader / administrator co-presenting alongside an educator or a community educator from a different organization as long as they are part of the core educator team. 
  • Selected presenters will receive a $200 honorarium each and complimentary registration to Summer Institute 2023: Deepening Team-Enabled Practices and are welcome to attend both days of the event. 
  • Travel costs to and from the event venue in Phoenix, Arizona are not included as part of registration and must be covered by individual presenters.
