The Asper Cup is a senior (grade 10-12) British Parliamentary Debating tournament at that qualifies students for the National BP championship taking place virtually this year November hosted by Manitoba.

We thank you in advance for your interest in being a judge at this exceptional event and look forward to seeing you VIRTUALLY on Sunday October 17, 2021! Note that to ease up on screen time, the Asper Cup will be 2 rounds this year instead of 3.

Note that no experience is necessary as training is provided:

12:15-1:00 Judges Briefing
12:30 Announcement of the first debate resolution and speaking positions
1:00 First debate begins
2:00-2:15 Break
2:15 Announcement of second debate resolution and speaking positions
2:35 Second debate begins
3:35 Awards Tabulated
4:05 Awards Presented
4:20 Tournament Ends
