Please fill out as much information as possible to register for the Modern Foreign Language Examination. If you have any questions, please contact Associate Dean, Diandra Erickson (derickson@gtu.edu).
The deadline to register for the examination is three weeks prior to the exam date (May 1st, 2024) Registrations after this date will only be accepted pending availability of the examiners. Contact the Associate Dean with the language you would like to test in if you are trying to register after May 1st.
The language exam will be held over Zoom. A week or so prior to the exam date, you will receive the Zoom link, what you need and the examination format, but please feel free to contact the Associate Dean if you have any questions. If you have not heard from us a week prior to the exam, it could mean that your registration was not completed. The Associate Dean is also happy to answer any questions prior to the test date about the format of the examination or any other questions you might have.
The GTU offers the Modern Foreign Language examination in the following eight languages: Chinese, French, German, Modern Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Latin, and Spanish. If you would like to test in another language, you are responsible for finding your own examiner and providing contact information to the Associate Dean in the last question below. The GTU does not provide remuneration for outside examiners. This is the student's responsibility.
