Transportation Scholarship
Thanks to our partner Ag + Open Space, which is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter-cent sales tax, Sonoma Land Trust is offering transportation scholarships for Sonoma County schools to participate in SLIME (Students Learning In Marsh Environments) field trips to San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Schools outside of Sonoma County may receive scholarships through our transportation scholarship program.

Awards are made on a first-come, first serve basis. You will be notified if you received the award within two weeks by email or phone. Applications are evaluated by Land Trust staff and awards are determined by a review panel. By accepting a transportation scholarship, you are agreeing to completing all post-field trip surveys.

The award is a reimbursement limited to the amount cost of transportation only and you will need to provide invoice from the district or rental company for bussing costs.

The address to the field trip site is Sears Point Trailhead,  7699 Reclamation Rd, Sonoma, CA 95476.
