This agreement is made by and between booth vendor and the Sellersburg Celebrates! Festival Committee as the Renter.

In consideration of the payment by vendor of the non-refundable amount due and other goods and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by Renter it is agreed as follows:

1. Stop at information booth to pick up vendor parking passes.

2. You will be required to furnish your own heavy duty (rated for outdoors) extension cord. It is recommended that it be as least 100 ft - 150 ft. in length, but it could need to be longer depending on your booth placement. The committee does not furnish extension cords. When booth placement comes out, count the number of booths between you and the electric poll in the map. Then multiply that number by 11 - that will be how long your cord needs to be. Cords CANNOT cross aisles.

3. The vendor must provide a fire extinguisher at your booth, per the IN State Fire Marshall, Indianapolis, IN. You will be subject to inspection by the fire marshal before the festival begins. This process is super quick, no announcements are made, and usually happens around 3pm on the first festival day. The fire marshal may not speak to your directly, and you do not need to be present. Any valid (non expired) fire extinguisher will work.

4. Vendor acknowledges that the booth location will be solely determined by the Renter, and that the Renter’s decision is final. Requests can be made, but cannot always be honored.

5. At all times relevant to this agreement, Vendor agrees to comply with any applicable federal, state, county, town laws, ordinances and regulations (the laws), and also any rules now existing or subsequently adopted including State or Local Fire Code regulations (strictly enforced). This includes any business licensing or business insurance coverage.

6. This agreement shall be subject to termination by Renter without notice of herein upon and violation of the Laws and /or Rules by Vendors, or its agents, employees or other designees. If for any reason the contract is terminated (IE: Renter is unable to attend, turbulent weather causes festival cancellation, or any other reason not listed) refunds will not be issued.

7. Vendor hereby indemnifies, defends and holds harmless the Renter, its agents, contractors and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, actions, suit or proceeding for loss or damage incurred with in whole or in part, by the negligence or willful misconduct of Vendor, its officers, agents, contractors and employees.

8. Vendor, for itself and its officers, agents, contractors and volunteers, their respective successors, assigns, heirs and /or personal representative, hereby releases the Renter, its officers, agents, contractors and employees from any and all liability for any claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suit or proceeding for any loss or damage suffered by Vendor, its officers, agents contractors and employees, arising out of Vendor’s participation in the Sellersburg Celebrates! festival.

9. The vendor also understands that electricity is limited to only ONE double outlet (110v) regardless of how many booth spaces you have.

10. SET UP TIMES. As soon as you receive an email (usually on the Wednesday morning before the festival) with your booth placement you can begin setup. ALL BOOTHS MUST BE SET UP BY 3PM ON THURSDAY FOR FIRE MARSHALL INSPECTION. Please be aware that a map of your space location will be sent to you by Wednesday morning.

11. TEAR DOWN. Tear down can begin at the end of the festival - 11pm on Saturday night. However, vehicles cannot be brought in for loading until the police department gives the "all clear" on Saturday night (usually shortly after 11pm over the loudspeaker or via text). There is a possibility you will not be able to attend as a future vendor if you bring your vehicle into the field before that "all clear" is given. This is a SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. If you choose to wait, anytime on Sunday you will be able to come into the park to tear down - overnight officers will not be in the park Saturday night (they will be there Wed-Fri overnight).

12. One vendor parking pass will be provided per vendor. Additional passes can be purchased for $10/each. These can be picked up at the information booth during set up or at anytime during the festival.

13. The Renter reserves the right to accept or decline Vendor participation in the festival.

14. The Renter agrees to have someone man their booth for the entirety of the festival hours. Thursday beginning at 5PM through Saturday ending at 11PM. Bathroom and food breaks are fine!

15. I understand that the electric capacity is limited in the park. Large items that pull a lot of wattage CANNOT be used. These are things like: heat press machines, mini refrigerators, portable air conditioners, and more. We reserve the right to DENY ELECTRICITY USE if this is abused.

16. Weights AND stakes for your canopy are a requirement. If you do not have weights you will be held liable for damages to surrounding vendors or any other damages that may be incurred. In many years past, tents have flown away. It is important for the safety of everyone that you have weights of some kind. We recommend weights of more than 150lbs.

17. Generators are not allowed in the craft vendor area, period.

18. The festival in 2024 is: August 22, 23, and 24.
Vendor/festival hours are:
Thursday: 5pm - 10pm
Friday: 5pm - 11pm

Saturday: 12pm - 11pm

Set up:
As soon as you receive your email/text with your booth assignment you can begin set up. Someone will be available to assist you at the information booth and give you parking passing during these hours (which are subject to change). You are able to check in after the festival begins if you're not there during these hours.
Wednesday: Noon - 8

Thursday: 10am - 3pm

19. If you ask volunteers Rachael or Candi questions that any of the above 18 items answer, we are charging you one bottle of wine per question. 👀 👀 Just kidding,.. or are we? 👀🤷🏻‍♀️😂
