Nomination form for the Peace nuclear Abolition and Climate Engaged Youth (PACEY) Award 2024.
There will be three (3) prizes of €5000 each: one prize in the category of European Youth Project and two prizes in the category of Beyond Europe Youth Project. Please make your nomination for one of the two categories:
1. European Youth Project: A project based in Europe or run by youth from Europe;
2. Beyond Europe Youth Project: A project based outside Europe or a Global youth project.
The Award is open to youth activists up to 35 years in age, and organizations/initiatives engaged primarily with youth up to 35 years in age.
Deadline for nominations: January 8, 2024.
Youth activists and youth organisations are permitted (and encouraged) to nominate their own projects.
The nine finalists (3 for the European Youth Project and 6 for the Beyond Europe Youth Projects) will be invited to present their project at the PACEY Award ceremony (online) on January 26, 2024 where voting will take place to decide the winners.
The Award is organised jointly by the Basel Peace Office, Youth Fusion, Evangelical Reformed Church of Basel and the Präsidialdepartement des Kantons Basel-Stadt, Kantons- und Stadtentwicklung (Office of Cantonal and Urban Development, Department of Presidential Affairs, Canton of Basel-Stadt, Switzerland).
