Application to "Empathic Step #2: Running in Northern Ireland"
This is an application form for Erasmus+ youth exchange "Empathic Step #2: Running in Northern Ireland", in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, 25 April - 4 May 2022.

Project is divided between two places:
25 April - 1 May in Bushmills
2-4 May in Belfast, where you can choose to run 10km distance and participate 8km or 42km in Belfast marathon.

Please read carefully all the questions and take your time to answer in detail.

Infopack: http://abroadship.org/youth-exchange-empathic-step-2-running-in-northern-ireland-uk/ and if you have any questions, feel free to contact at hello@abroadship.org.

COVID regulations: you must be fully vaccinated (for at least 14 days) to take part in this project.

For fully vaccinated persons entering Northern Ireland you must:
1. complete a UK Passenger Locator Form  in the 48 hours before arrival in Northern Ireland
2. Abroadship.org will book for you: before travelling, book and pay for a Day 2 - a rapid lateral flow test LFD or PCR test to be taken on or before day two following your arrival in Northern Ireland. Costs of the test (approximately £17-20) will be added to your traveling budget and reimbursed the same way as all traveling expenses.
3. be able to prove that you have been fully vaccinated with a document (digital or paper-based) from a national or state level public health body that includes, as a minimum:
        your forename and surname(s)
        your date of birth
        vaccine brand and manufacturer
date of vaccination for each dose
country or territory of vaccination and/ or certificate issuer
4. If your day two LFD test is positive you must book a free confirmatory PCR test and self-isolate until 10 days after the day you took your initial test.

In case of a positive LFD test, you will have to stay in the Bushmills hostel for extra 5 nights from 25h April to 5th, that is 10 full days after the testing day (25th April) and will not be able to participate in outdoors activities and will not go to Belfast hostel and will have to fly out on 5th of May. The costs of extra 4 nights in Bushmills will be added to the traveling amount and will be reimbursed the same as all traveling expenses. The traveling changes will be also added to your traveling allowance. We advice to book your taveling back on 5th of May and explore 1 day more Northern Ireland, as traveling changes usually are expensive. In this case, you have to book from your own expense the extra night at the hostel and cover the expenses for extra day yourself, as this is not part of the programme. We also recommend to insure yourself from the traveling changes due to COVID regulations. 80% traveling costs (only the most economical and agreed before hand at hello@abroadship.org) are covered. Maximum traveling expenses are up to:

    €180/participant for UK
    €275/participant for Lithuania, Italy, Spain
    €360/participant for Greece
    €530/participant for Turkey

You have 3 options: (1) take a free running in the city any route you prefer, at any distance you wish, but preferably 10km to make a symbolic participation in the marathon, (2) pay £55 and run 42.2km (full marathon) official Belfast marathon (3) pay £28 and run together with 5 persons a ~8.4km distance, so called Team Relay - running in teams of five the distance of all marathon, thus each would run 42.2/5=8.4 km. All options require in depth preparation before arrival to the YE.

This campaign should be targeted for your friends and community to participate and get better at something, for example running. The more people will follow / like / comment on your campaign, the better. This campaign is also for you to learn and attract audiences to your causes) *
You can use social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), personal website, blog, other creative ways. Please tag @abroadship and use #empathicstep and for us to follow your campaign and make it more visible and seen by local community.
Please share a song that reflects you at this moment. *
