Are you an Asian or Pacific Islander high school student in Denver, who loves creative writing? Do you already write or have been interested in writing poetry, rap, or other genres of song lyrics? This writing workshop series will focus on creative writing skills while exploring themes of culture, beauty standards, and identity.

At the end of the series, you'll be invited to film your work using a professional rig, and your video will be circulated throughout Denver and the world! We hope to cultivate a space for future API writers to sharpen their writing skills and energize community across the city of Denver.

Writers of all skill levels are welcomed to join. The only requirement is that you have a strong interest in writing and come in with an open mind. Oh, and a notebook. You'll definitely need your notebook!
