Thank you for showing an interest in volunteering for BSA Troop 26 out of Fort Drum, NY! We are currently recruiting for many different volunteer positions and would greatly appreciate your subject matter expertise and time.

Meeting times:
Scout meetings are held every Monday at 7pm.
Committee Meetings are held every third Sunday at 3pm.
Special Events and Campout dates vary each month.

Secretary: Manage administrative work i.e. calendar events meeting minutes, email correspondence

Treasurer: Manage troop financial accounts, maintain checks and balances, provide monthly financial reports, collect funds for events and much more

New Member Coordinator: Answer new member questions about meetings and events, provide applications for youth and adults, assist with processing paperwork and work with Longhouse Council to ensure new members are administratively taken care of

Fundraising Chair: Manage and organize fundraising opportunities, request donations from companies, organize fundraising events i.e. Krispy Kreme sales

Scoutmaster: Provide BSA Leadership guidance, mentorship, tools and skills to lead their patrols

Assistant Scoutmaster: Assist the Scoutmaster in upholding BSA Leadership guidance, mentorship, tools and skills to lead their patrols

Merit Badge Counselor: Serves as a subject matter expert to teach scouts new skills and tools in order to earn a badge

Special Event Volunteer: Serve as a general volunteer when extra support is needed such Court of Honor planning, Scout Mountain Challenge, and other special events
