LEAP Day 2020 RSVP for League Academy.
Greenville County Schools has set aside the week of August 17-21 for LEAP (Learn Evaluate Analyze Prepare) days. The South Carolina Legislature requires school districts to offer these instruction days to students in response to the COVID-19 school closures. The first official day of school in Greenville County is Monday, August 24.

*PLEASE COMPLETE THE ENTIRE FORM REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOUR STUDENT WILL ATTEND LEAP OR NOT. WE NEED EVERY STUDENT TO COMPLETE THIS FORM. COMPLETE A SEPARATE FORM FOR EACH STUDENT.

TIME:
Session 1 Traditional In Person 8:15-10:45
Session 2 Virtual Program 12:30-3:00

WHAT TO EXPECT:
During their ½ day of LEAP, students will meet their teachers and the classmates who share their Attendance Plan color grouping and practice social distancing.  They will also be issued/trained/refreshed in the use of the Chromebooks and Google Classroom and take assessments that are required by the state to be conducted in person to help determine their academic strengths and weaknesses.

MEALS:
Each day, breakfast will be available for the AM session students and a bag lunch will be distributed before dismissal (AM students will not eat lunch on campus). Lunch will be provided to the PM session students.  

TRANSPORTATION:
Bus transportation will be provided to those who completed their transportation forms by July 15 and requested bus service and are registered for in-person school.  No bus transportation will be available for students who are registered for GCS Virtual School.

Parents should visit the League website, or call 355-8100 to learn how to enroll their children, if they were not enrolled in Greenville County Schools last year or for information on requesting bus transportation.
