Below is a definition of each role, but there is definitely scope to adjust the remit of each role!
Publicity Designer: Your main job is to create the poster for the show that can be put up in the ADC Theatre and around town. If you are doing Serious Money (ADC Mainshow) you might also want to make a programme to sell to audience members before each performance. You may also work with the publicist to design the look of any other show publicity such as social media posts. You dont need any editing or design software as it is all available at the ADC Theatre for students to use for free.
Publicist: Your job is to spread information about the show far and wide. This is often working with the producer of the show to run social media accounts, organise interviews and with local media and promote the show in any other way you see fit!
Photographer: This role is the most self-explanatory, you get to take wonderful photos to be used in promotional material. This is most commonly photos of the dress rehearsal, but can also include rehearsal photos, backstage photos, headshots of the cast and crew and even a promotional photoshoot! You will need your own camera (or a good camera on your phone!)
