Throughout the year different organizations come to Oak Ridge wanting to assist our students and families with school supplies, clothing, and other personal needs resources.  Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which protects the privacy of student educational records, we are prohibited from releasing any student information to these agencies without your permission.  The programs that we partner with vary from year to year to assist our students in some capacity.  By giving us permission to submit your information to these programs, it does not automatically mean you will receive assistance.  Most programs are limited and are based on the resources available.  

In addition to providing you with resources that might benefit your child or family, it also assists us greatly with knowing the needs of our campus.  As we prepare to offer counseling and parenting resources, we would like to know of our students’ and families’ needs.

Your information will only be used for the purpose of their assistance program(s).
