Safety Camp Volunteer Responsibilities
• Assist program leaders with the implementation of activities for the site.
• Participate in set-up and clean-up of activities and site.
• Maintain positive relationships with children and staff.
• Assist children in resolving conflicts.
• Communicate and coordinate activities with staff.
• Inform Program Director of all incidents, injuries and parent information as it/they occur(s).
• Abide by all LSFD and Strive Academy rules and guidelines.

Safety Camp Volunteer Qualifications
• Teen Volunteers must be in grades 7-12 for the 2022-2023 school year.
• Ability to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in kids.
• Experience working with youth preferred.
• Experience working with diverse communities preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other adults.
• Flexible and able to deal with unexpected situations.
• Creative, responsible, energetic, conscientious.
• Training: All volunteers must complete volunteer orientation.

Safety Camp Volunteer Time Commitment
• Teen Volunteers must commit to a 1 hour orientation on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
• Teen Volunteers must commit to volunteer for the duration of Safety Camp.
• June 13-17
       • 8:30 am -11:30 am
       •12:30-3:30 pm
IF VOLUNTEERING FOR BOTH SESSIONS, LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED
