Please open up your gospel weeklies to pages 2-3. Identify Grandma at her house, waiting for her relatives to come visit. Invite your child to identify the different routes that show how people came. "Bicycle path, footprints, highway, train tracks." Give your child a pair of scissors and direct them to cut off the strip on the right side of page 3, cut apart the four boxes, and match them to the paths on the illustration. Starting with the train tracks, have them look at Danny's family (red box) and talk about what they did to help Grandma get better. Then have your child put their finger on the train depot where the track begins and travel the track to Grandma's house. Proceed in the same way with each picture-Uncle John, Aunt Susan and their children are in the yellow box; they traveled by car.  Mr. and Mrs. Jackson are in the purple box; they walked. The paper boy is in the blue box; he rode his bike. *
