Please join us for CIEL's annual free conference where progressive educational institutions gather to share best practices, new ideas, and commiserate and celebrate our shared good work. Hosted by RIT's School of Individualized Study (SOIS), we are located just outside of downtown Rochester, NY.
SOIS is a degree-granting unit at RIT and lives under the University Studies Division to reflect it's campus wide reach and impact. SOIS offers undergraduate and graduate degrees where students customize their curriculum with support from professional advisors and faculty mentors.

Hotel Options Located in Downtown Rochester
The conference will take place on RIT's campus in Henrietta, NY. We are including downtown hotel options to provide easy accessibility to Thursday night's reception and Friday's dinner. Being located downtown provides the added benefit of Rochester's cultural amenities. Rochester is located in upstate New York and served by a major regional airport (ROC). There is Amtrak, but can be unreliable.
