Gather at the River - Conducting Lesson and Masterclass Application

Clinicians Dr. Amanda Quist and Dr. Tim Brent will be offering 30-minute conducting lessons to eight Gather at the River Participants. Lessons will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time in the week before the conference, or Saturday 26th June.

Four lesson participants will be selected, based on their application and interest, to also participate in a conducting masterclass on Friday afternoon at the conference. The masterclass will be open to all GATR participants to watch. Lessons will be private over zoom.

Priority Application deadline is: May 31st, 2021

Applications are open to all current ACDA members with preference given to VT ACDA members. You may be a college student, music teacher, or choral director in a non-academic setting. Applications received after May 31st will fill any lesson slots still available.

Applicants will be considered for lessons only, or lessons and masterclass, per applicant's choice. Eight applicants will be selected for lessons, and four of these also selected for the masterclass.
