Beloved Community Dialogue Sign Up
Please complete this form to secure your spot for the Beloved Community Dialogue. This event will be held on May 2nd, 2019 from 5:30 - 7PM at the Athens Clarke County Library (2025 Baxter St, Athens, GA). This is a FREE event but an RSVP is required to attend.
This program is presented by a partnership of Athens organizations, Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund, Athens Public Library, and Fanning Leadership Institute. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke of the Beloved Community as a realistic vision of an achievable society, one in which problems and conflict exist, but are resolved peacefully and without bitterness. Each person who attends will have the opportunity to engage in a dialogue facilitated by a Volunteer Racial Justice Facilitator. The focus of this dialogue is Education.
