This is the private residence of Emily Arden (Emily Arden Design) located in Oakland, CA. The apartment will be available for six weeks, June 27-August 7 in six day increments (Sunday-Saturday). Easy walking distance to Lake Merritt, plus the shops on Lakeshore and Grand Ave. There is free street parking.

This is a one bedroom, one bath apartment with plenty of natural light. There is a desk, a small dining area, kitchen, and living room. WiFi included. Coin-operated laundry onsite.

Because this is a private apartment and not a dedicated artist space, there are certain parameters. I know this will exclude many people and I hope to have a space in the future that accommodates all who may be interested in. Please read these requirements to ensure you will be a good fit for this opportunity:

· One person, working individually (at least while in the apartment)
· 2nd floor walk-up with no elevator
· Noise levels should be kept to a minimum while inside
· No harmful chemicals or messy supplies
· No smoking
· No pets
