Welcome to the Sixth Form option choices for 2024-2025.

In this form, you will be able to register your interest for Sixth Form and let us know your preferences for subject choices for Year 13.

We currently offer two routes of study:

3 A-Levels

You will select an A-level or A-level equivalent course from each of the three option blocks. This is a two year course.

Entry Requirements

• GCSE English and GCSE Maths at grade C or above.

• OCN ICT Pass grade.

• A minimum of 15 points (including a minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C).

• Behaviour, work ethic, attendance are also considered.

Transition Course

In recent years we have become more aware of students who wish to remain at Lisnagarvey, but feel unable to study three A-Levels. In order to try and provide such students with progression routes, we offer a one year course, which offers OCNNI Level 3 Diploma in Employability and Professional Development, Level 3 Certificate of Personal Effectiveness, GCSE English and Mathematics repeat classes and an enrichment programme. Students who successfully complete the Transition year can apply to complete a further two A-Levels from August 2025.

Entry Requirements

• A minimum of 6 points.

• Students MUST have at least a minimum of 4 subjects in total at Grade C (or higher) at Level 2.

• Behaviour, work ethic, attendance are also considered.
