2024 GCFV Annual Conference FVIP Scholarship Application
The Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV) will be providing conference registration scholarships to a limited number of Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP) Providers/Facilitators and FVIP Facilitators/Providers-in-training. FVIP Facilitators-in-Training must have taken FVIP Basics Day 1 prior to the conference in order to receive hours towards certification

FVIPs play a major role in the movement to end domestic violence and GCFV recognizes the importance of FVIPs attending the conference to learn about the current trends, new developments and best practices for working with offenders of domestic violence, prioritizing victim safety, and ultimately ending domestic violence in our state.

GCFV is dedicated to providing consistent, quality continuing education opportunities to FVIPs in Georgia, and the annual conference presents a significant opportunity to explore a wide range of domestic violence and related topics and hear directly from reputable leaders and researchers in the field that we believe will make a positive impact in the lives of the FVIP participants and victims we are called to serve.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 1, 2024. If you have any questions contact Jameelah.ferrell@dcs.ga.gov.
