I. Qualification
1. Applicant must have attended JSCS for at least two years and be a current JSCS student who registered for language or culture class and pay the fee.
2. Applicant is entering 9th Grade or above in local English school.
3. Language class TA working schedule is 9:30 AM – 11:20 PM
4. Cultural class TA working schedule is 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
5. TA should assist teacher in class set-up, clean up and teaching.
6. TA will receive the voluntary community service hours without pay.
7. You must commit to have 80% attendance to apply for the TA. If you do not serve more than 20 hours during the academic year, no certificates and recommendation letters will be issued to you.
8. If you cannot attend the class, please contact your teacher. You will be disqualified from the TA position, if absent without advanced notice three times.
9. TA needs to submit an application for approval.
10. Cultural director will notify each applicant if you are eligible for TA position or not. JSCS cannot guarantee that each applicant will be selected for applied position. We appreciate your interest and understanding.
