The Carolyn Burgess Govan Memorial Scholarship Application
Dear Prospective Graduate:

Burgess-Govan Consulting, LLC. would like to award two $1,000 scholarships for the upcoming 2022 academic school year. Both scholarships will be awarded to a graduating high school senior with plans to purse a degree in radio/broadcasting. If you meet the requirements below, we encourage you to apply.

What's Needed?
Mandatory Eligibility Requirements:

- A completed and signed application
- A 350–500-word essay
- Maintain a 2.7 cumulative GPA, minimum.
- A copy of your unofficial electronic transcripts
- Headshot
- A Palm Beach County resident
- Optional - Letter of reference
- A graduating high school senior who will attend an accredited university/college beginning the Fall of 2022 with plans to pursue a degree in Radio/broadcasting.

Essay:
Please submit a typed essay (350 - 500 words) answering and explaining one of the two questions below.
(1) How will this scholarship help you with your education and future career goals?
(2) How do you use your voice to impact your community?
