Green Street Reads - Book Club Signup
Green Street Church’s Anti-Racism Team invites you to join our Green Street Reads book club. Together we’ll explore the intersections of race and racism with other matters of justice in the context of a faith community that is committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion, anti-racism, and poverty alleviation. Our book club will focus mostly on fiction, encouraging participants to bring imagination and empathy to stories that illuminate the challenges facing our nation and our church today. You don't have to be a church member or even a Christian to participate, but you can expect our conversations to center on a commitment to anti-racism in the context of a faith community. We'll update this form with our selections and meeting times; fill out the information below to receive a link and updates.

Our selections and dates for 2023 are as follows, with each discussion happening on a Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in-person at Green Street Church (639 S. Green St.):

October 19 - The Atlas of Reds and Blues by Devi S. Laskar
November 16 - Love Medicine by Louise Erdrich
January 18 - Bloodmarked by Tracy Deonn

You can get 20% off our selections at Bookmarks (in-store or online) as a participant in our book club with the code 20GREENST.
