Hi everyone!

H.S.A. Confluente and SCCE Noesis have teamed up to organize a chess competition for all students! Here, you have the opportunity to meet others chess enthusiasts and beginners alike from all different corners of the university. At the start, the more experienced can get warmed up through friendly games of chess, while novice players can get some advice from the chess masters of Noesis. After this, everyone is split up into different brackets based on their level, so you will only be facing opponents of similar strength, to ensure fair competition. At the end of the competition, the winner of each bracket will be rewarded with a fancy prize :). And, during these chilly months, we'll of course provide you with hot beverages to warm you up and delicious snacks!

The activity will take place on Friday 9 December, from 16:00 - 20:00. The competition will take place in the enchanting atmosphere of the WinTU/er village, at the ground floor at Atlas. There is only room for 50 sign-ups, so be sure to sign up quickly, as you would not want to miss out!
