We welcome students studying law, tax or accounting at the undergraduate or graduate level or as part of a certificate program or through individual course work.
In 2023, CPG has only one class of organizational membership and all members, including student members, have the same rights and responsibilities, regardless of the amount of dues they pay. Except for this pre-application step, and a slightly different application form that we'll send you a link to, student member registration follows the same procedure and has the same requirements as for other members and is described on this
new membership registration page under the
Join Us menu option on our website. Learn more about CPG (aka "the Guild") on
our website. Review the Guild's governance documents here:
Bylaws and Policy and Procedures Manual.
Thank you for understanding that we use this pre-application for new student members as a security measure to help us avoid accepting inauthentic applications from bots or people who are not truly interested in or eligible for membership. The Guild administrators will have access to the responses you provide and will not disclose this information to other parties.
If you have any questions about membership or the membership application process, please contact us at
Membership@Professionals.coop. If you are not eligible for membership (eligibility requirements are described in the
Guild’s Policy and Procedures Manual)
, you're welcome to join as a subscriber; the pre-application for subscribers can be found here.
With appreciation for your interest in cooperatives,
