Write Rhode Island: The Short Story
 
In this class, students will learn all the fundamentals of page-turner short story writing: character development, setting, plot, point of view, voice, and dialogue. Students will read each other's work, give and receive feedback, and work on multiple drafts toward a finished product.  
 
With guidance from instructors, students will create short stories for their portfolios, the Write Rhode Island competition or personal pleasure.
