The MIST Chicago Judges Application Form is now live and accepting applications for MIST 2025!

MIST will be taking place on April 18th, 19th and 20th at Burhan Academy in Elgin, IL.

Judges are expected to uphold a high standard of professionalism, respect, and fairness throughout the weekend. MIST relies on your commitment and dedication to raising the bar and making the competitions as fair, valuable, and rewarding as possible. If selected to be a MIST Judge, I understand that I am voluntarily committing my time and experience to MIST Chicago. I value my time and especially the time of others. I agree to be on time or early for everything I commit to. If I realize, for whatever reason, that I am unable to fulfill my commitments with the quality required of them, I will immediately and without delay relay this to the Judges Chair. Communication is key. As such, I will do my best to stay in contact with the staff of MIST by checking my email and reading all correspondences and returning all forms of communication (e.g. emails, calls, etc.). I agree to lead by example. In doing so, I will strive to exemplify all MIST rules and regulations. I will judge to the best of my abilities and do what I can to ensure that the environment is safe, respectable, and engaging for all. *
