Submission of this form serves as verification student and parent/guardian understand and agree to the following statements:
Students who graduate mid-year may participate in the district January graduation ceremony or may participate in the June graduation ceremony with the class.
Upon graduation, the student will no longer be enrolled in Durham County Public School System.
After graduation, the student will not participate in any extracurricular activities, including athletics, school dances, the prom, plays, clubs, senior activities, etc.
After graduation, the student will not be able to access any of the benefits available to students who are enrolled including bus transportation, lunch program, special education and student services.
After graduation, the student will not be allowed on campus unless registered as a visitor under the conditions applied to visitors.
Students, along with their parents/guardians, will contact the colleges/universities of application to determine whether early/mid-year graduation will affect admission either in the spring or fall semester.
Students, along with their parents/guardians, are aware that early/mid-year graduation will occur after many community colleges and colleges/universities begin their Spring semester.
