COST OF TATTOO? WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DONATION?
Participants are asked to contribute what they can afford. The money will be donated to the Human Rights Tattoo Foundation, which uses the money to help fund more HRT events in communities around the world that are not resourced to host their own event. Your donation will contribute to the accessibility of this global Human Rights project so that the final artwork represents people from around the world and from all walks of life.

HRT EVENT AT OPEN DESIGN AFRIKA FESTIVAL 2020!
During Open Design Afrika 2020 you can look forward to experiencing the installation of the 32m long Human Rights Tattoo Wall that includes the thousands of tattoos completed around the world to help write the Declaration of Human Rights, one tattoo at a time. The tattoos done in Cape Town during Open Design Afrika Festival 2019 will be a part of this wall, taking their place as part of the writing of the Declaration of Human Rights. In 2020, Open Design Afrika Festival will host two more tattoo events, in collaboration with the HRT team, to help complete this significant artwork. Join us this year and next and be a part of this unique, global initiative!
