September 20th - ColorBrave Registration
The opening session of the 2019/20 school year explores Intersectionality- a term that has gained popularity, yet the origin of the phrase is widely unknown. We will learn about Intersectionality's origins as a power analysis, and draw connections to the growing anti-bias & antiracism commitments in the St. Louis community. By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of Intersectionality, and next steps to applying more thorough "lens" to their commitment to being Colorbrave.
