Au Revoir! Photographers of Hungarian heritage in France - Guiding in English
The Budapest Castle Museum opened its temporary photo exhibition on 4th October 2019 titled ' Au Revoir! - Photographers of Hungarian heritage in France'.

More than 200 artworks of 31 artists are displayed to the public, along with famous artists Robert Capa, André Kertész, Brassaï, and other less well-known photographers. The pictures are depicting the past 100 years of photography and art, with gems like André Kertész's three pieces that have recently been found and are now presented the first time to an audience.

We cordially invite you to our English guiding on the exhibition, where you can gain insights of the stories of the various artists along with their personal background and motivations working abroad, and we'll take a close look at the  pictures with some social or historic references to discover the environment in which they were created.

Your visit is most welcome but requires registration.

You can take part in the English guiding of no extra charge with your museum ticket valid for that actual day.

Date: 21 December 3pm - 4.30pm
