Proper practice and performance wear are required for the student to participate.  Failure to provide required dance attire may cause the student to sit out for the duration of the class or performance in which they are not dressed for.  I will uphold this standard and insure that my student is prepared with required materials.   *

Stretching, practice, and attendance are important for a dancer to feel confident and adequate to perform.  If a dancer does not have a good attendance record, or struggles to put full effort towards dance combinations, they are subject to being pulled from the performance.  Practices before a performance are very important to attend.  Small changes or corrections will most likely be made that are important for success.  If the dancer does not attend the previous 2 practices before the performance, they may be subject to being pulled from the performance or sections of the performance. *
If you or your child/children become sick please give notice.  The class may be made up per agreed time and day from both parties.  The dance teacher will try to give at least 24 hour notice and a reschedule date if she/he becomes ill.  A sub will most likely be found. *
Please be aware that class will not be held on Holidays  or half days and cannot be made up.  Vacation, birthdays, or other personal events may be able to be made up by determining a scheduled, extra, practice time agreed by both parties.   *
Parents, family members, and other persons that are not a volunteer or part of the class, are not allowed in the practice or backstage area, unless given permission.  Parents will need to wait until the student is dismissed and checked out by the coach for parent pick up.  I will uphold this policy. *
A parent or guardian is allotted 10 minutes after release time for practices, or performances to pick up their student.  Students picked up more than 10 minutes after dismissal of class or a performance will be considered a late pick-up. If late pick-ups are excessive (more than 3), students may be subject to removal from the activity, with no refund.  If we are not able to contact you or emergency contacts listed, we may be required to call local authorities to assist. Staff is not permitted to transport children to or from the program. If late pick-ups are excessive (more than 3), parents may be subject to legal action. *
