Our Selection Committee, Volunteers, Mentors, and Advisory Board seeks to support The Dean's List mission through volunteering, fundraising, network building, and community engagement opportunities. We are seeking a group of resourceful, energetic and insightful individuals of diverse ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, perspectives and life experiences. This committee is recognized on Dean's List social media platforms, have professional development & networking opportunities, access top talent for internship/job openings, have the option to help select honorees for the 20 Under 20 Awards in Charlotte, and make a real impact on future trailblazers and the Queen City community.
WHAT DO WE ASK OF THE ADVISORY BOARD?
- Use your skills, talents, network, and time to help promote The Dean's List community and young professionals regularly in your community efforts & the city
- Volunteer at Dean's List events and/or connect us with potential sponsors
- Engage thoughtfully in an empowering network of leaders

- Spread the word in Charlotte, NC & promote The Dean's List 20 Under 20 Awards in your community efforts (on your own time) throughout the year
- Review applications for 20 Under 20 Honorees and the Black Woman in Media Award during the delegation period
- Attend the Awards Ceremony and congratulate honorees & families
- Mentor honorees and guide young women and men in their purpose to develop as leaders

rovide college students with the opportunity to connect 1:1 and learn from you, forming strong mentor and mentee bonds- Attend a Monday Mentor Meetup within the calendar year
