Wildland Fire Assessment Project (WFAP) Request Form - 2023

This project will end at the end of 2023. Please make sure to get your applications in before November 8, 2023.

This is a free public service brought to you by Fire Safe Sonoma and funded by the Sonoma County Vegetation Management Grant Program. Habitat for Humanity also plays the key role in making sure Home Hardening work can get done.

Using the National Volunteer Fire Council's Wild Fire Assessment Program (WFAP), Fire Safe Sonoma will provide at least 100 home assessments to low-income households in Sonoma County.

To request a Wildland Fire Assessment Program (WFAP) home assessment, please enter the information indicated below.

Information and recommendations that assessors provide to residents are based on established mitigation practices and do not enforce any codes or standards.

There is a question at the end about referring you to Habitat for Humanity, which could help get some of the recommended home hardening work done that we have assessed. Respond "Yes" for us to get that process started for you if you qualify.

To qualify for this service, you must be below a low-income threshold as established by Sonoma County government. To establish eligibility, please check the option below that describes total combined household income of the wage earners at your address: *

3 people in household with combined income of $67,980.00 or less

4 people in household with combined income of $75,480.00 or less

5 people in household with combined income of $81,540.00 or less

7 people in household with combined income of $93,600.00 or less

8 people in household with combined income of $99,660.00 or less
