As we enter adulthood, some of us will get married while some of us will remain single. If the topics of marriage, singleness, and dating are not already pertinent to us, they will increasingly become relevant for us to consider. The world may suggest different ideas on what the purpose of marriage is or make comments on the value of singleness. However, as Christians who seek to live for God’s purposes, what does the Bible have to say about marriage and singleness and how we live them out? In our first topical for the year, let’s explore what God has to say about marriage, its purpose, and its implications.
