LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The Glass Art Society Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes and celebrates a lifetime of exceptional achievement in the field of glass and acknowledges individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the worldwide glass community.

Nominations come from you, members of the global glass community. If you know a person (artist, educator, historian, curator, gallerist, or leader) that has contributed to the glass community through their work, tell us about them and how they have shown a life of service to glass.

Prize package includes:
* $1,500 cash prize
* Accommodations at the Conference hotel for 4 nights
* Transportation to the Conference location (up to $800).
* Complimentary Conference pass + select special event passes
* 30-45 minute speech at the Conference Opening Ceremony

Selection Criteria & Process
Nominees must meet the following criteria: worked in the field for a minimum of 30 years, and an influencer in the field. Nominees do not have to be artists. All roles that work with glass including curators, historians, organizational directors, educators, and more will be considered. You do not need to be a GAS member to nominate someone or to be nominated. The winner will be selected by GAS board and committee members from the top three nominees.
