Tickets are on sale from The Crescent – price £5 from January 2020

• all band members must be of secondary school age – 11 to 18/19
• all band members must either live in York and/or attend a York school
• each band gets a slot of approx.10 mins (including getting on and off stage).
• each band should do one cover and one original
• a maximum of 8 players per band
• the event is competitive and there will be prizes awarded by a panel of judges

All bands must have a ‘guarantor’ who agrees to:

• vouch that the band is of a sufficient standard
• have overall responsibility for the band
• be the main point of contact.

The ‘guarantor’ must be over 18 and could be a head of music, someone representing a music organisation or a parent.
