Hooves Around The Pyrenees

Sign up for our discovery rides in the Pyrenees mountains this year. Trips will take place between 1 and 15 October. You can choose a week of trail riding or a week of liberty lessons. 

The trail riding is for experienced riders under 75 kilos, and we will do 2 to 5 hours in the saddle per day. Per week I can welcome 1 rider. You can bring a maximum of 2 non-riding friends with you. There are lots of hiking and mountain biking trails, and more activities in the area.

A week of liberty lessons is suitable for anyone, no matter your experience with liberty. We'll do 1 to 2 sessions of 1 hour per day, and 3 guests per week are welcome. 

Arrival and departure days are on Sunday, and we don't ride or do lessons on these days. Pick-up and drop off is at Toulouse airport. You are welcome for 1 to 3 weeks. Accommodation will be camping under the stars and/or in tents. 

Weekly price trail riding or liberty: 945 EU 
Weekly price non riders: 795 EU 

Including: horse riding or liberty lessons, accommodation, transfers Toulouse airport, meals. 
Excluding: flights, insurance, drinks. 

Optional (at extra cost): accommodation in nearby lodge, drinks and dinners at restaurants, excursions. 

Bookings are on a first come first serve basis, and return guests get priority. 

I’ll be in touch via email to confirm your dates as soon as possible. To book your spot, you’ll put down a 30% deposit. The remaining total is due 90 days before arrival.

Sukur (or Sugar) is my pony for guests.

He’s small but mighty! He is a 17 year old Pottok pony gelding. He’s super cuddly and affectionate. He’s alert and lively, but not scared of anything. He’s forward, very responsive to your legs and hands and is very easy to ride with your seat.

He’s also got a lot to teach us in terms of horse behaviour and communication, and is the perfect subject for our liberty lessons.
