Hardin County Schools is receiving $9,169,587.89 from the Federal Government under The American Rescue Plan passed by Congress and signed into law by the President.  This survey is seeking your feedback and suggestions as to best budget these funds.  The law requires that the funds be budgeted in one of the following categories:

1. Addressing Learning Loss: Coordinators, Summer, Supplemental After School, and Tutoring
2. Addressing Learning Acceleration: Summer, Supplemental After School, and Tutoring
3. Addressing Facility Needs and Deferred Maintenance/Infrastructure
4. Purchasing Education Technology (including hardware, software, and connectivity)
5. Addressing the Unique Needs of Special Populations
6. School Facility Repairs
7. Providing Mental Health Supports
8.High Quality Instructional Materials for Math Adoption
9. High Quality Instructional Materials for Early Literacy
10. Public Health Coordination and Protocols
11. Conducting Other Necessary Activities

13. Administrative Cost

The law requires that at least 20% of the total allocation be budgeted to address learning loss. If you have specific questions related to ESSER 3.0, you may contact the Hardin County Schools Federal Programs Supervisor, Theresa McCormick, at theresa.mccormick@hctnschools.com.

The Hardin County ESSER 3.0 Stakeholder Team has reviewed the initial proposal that meets all of the requirements. Please review the purposed use of funds above then complete the survey.  

The survey will be open until July 1, 2021.  After that date, the team will review all comments and consider needed adjustments to the budget proposal.  The final proposal must be submitted to the State for review by August 1.
