Girls Rock Boston will be holding two sessions this summer for youth ages 8-17.
Both sessions and orientation will be held at Berklee College of Music’s Fordham Road Practice Facility located at 25 Fordham Road, Allston, MA 02134
Session 1:
July 14-20, 2019
Mandatory Volunteer Orientation – Sunday, July 14, 2019
Session Week: Monday-Saturday, July 15-20, 2019
Session 2:
August 4-10, 2019
Mandatory Volunteer Orientation -- Sunday, August 4, 2019
Session Week -- Monday-Saturday, August 5-10, 2019
All volunteers are required to attend a mandatory Volunteer Orientation for their session on the Sunday before their session. The Monday-Friday portion of the day runs from 7:30AM-5:30PM. The showcase takes place on Saturday afternoon and runs approximately two and a half hours.
**New this Year** We will be offering additional trainings in June for confirmed volunteers. Attendance is not mandatory but strongly recommended.
Volunteers are not required to commit to a full day. If you have limited availability during the week there will be space later in the application to explain and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

5:30-6:30 Optional Volunteer Meeting
All new volunteers will be interviewed and a background check is required for new volunteers.
While our programming is guided by the experiences of girls and women, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports and welcomes a wide range of marginalized gender identities and expressions. We welcome women, trans, and gender nonconforming youth and volunteers.
Space for volunteers is limited, please apply early for best consideration.
