The Rise Fund (the "Fund"), was established as a mechanism to receive contributions from the Action Alliance, individuals, local member sexual and domestic violence (SDV) organizations, and other groups that wish to support local member SDV agencies in times of disaster.

In the wake of many natural and manmade disasters and with the understanding that disasters of various types are likely to happen in the future, the Action Alliance Governing Body established The Rise Fund in order to be more prepared to handle these situations as they arise. This Fund and associated forms of the Organizational Disaster Preparedness Checklist were established to ensure that the Action Alliance has a process in place to respond quickly and effectively whenever disasters occur.

The Fund receives designated contributions through the Action Alliance office administration and the Action Alliance Governing Body oversees the Fund.

You can contribute through the Action Alliance online donation page or by check. Please make checks payable to the Action Alliance and note "The Rise Fund" on the check.
